It’s been a long time. How have you been? We’ve been incredibly busy building our company, and making games. Where has Trounce been? Well, the truth is… we just didn’t make the money we needed from Appbackr. We needed around $15,000.00 to produce the game. We brought in less than $1000.00. This made things incredibly difficult for us. We worked to find other client projects that would fund the development of Trounce – and we have found them. It has, however, taken a while to get to a point we can really handle a project such as Trounce: Demons are Squishy, while continuing to be funded by client work. It’s been a very rough ride for all of us – especially those of you who backed the game and are waiting to receive it. The game is indeed still in production – though until now, it has been very slow production. Where we stand is we are working hard to ship Out on a Limb – another client project. Once that is out the door, we have a channel free and clear to work on Trounce: Demons are Squishy, and we have been working very hard on greatly improving the design of the product this whole time. The final game is going to be very exciting, very multi-platform, and something we feel will be a great product for everyone. If you wish to request a refund, go for it – we understand. But if you can have some faith in us, then you’ll be backing one hell of an awesome product.

While everyone has been busy enjoying the public beta of Trounce, we have been working on adding more content, polishing the gameplay, and adding more excitement! Since you all have been so patient, how about a sneak preview of what's to come?


The Chaos Mine
The newest trap to be added to the game is the Chaos Mine. Expensive to place, but with much potential. It starts with just a little explosive force, however the longer you let it sit, the more powerful it becomes. Place it early and use it strategically when you need it most!


The artwork in the beta was almost entirely meant to be just that - beta art, for a beta game. Moving into the final product, we want to make sure the game has polished, excellent looking artwork. We have partnered with our friends at Cg Armada to help bang out some amazing artwork for the final product. Everything from the town to the scenery is now much more stylized - and all of it is animated! Trees and bushes will flow in the wind, the town will animate... and yes, the foliage is completely destructable.

New traps, new art, and more to come. Your backing makes all of this - and so much more - very possible. There are 17 days remaining to help make this project everything it can be, so please keep the backing coming!
