Our motto “Building games that build the future”.
NinMin.com is a 12 month old game that has produced over 150K fans & addicted players across the globe, very quickly.
NinMin is a PC/Mac (web-based) based game which we now plan on porting to Android & iOS platforms. Over the last 12 months we worked with several food and gadget retailers across Europe, Middle East & China to give out real prizes including coupons, 20-50% discounts at toy stores, free meals at fast food joints, clothing discounts are various retail stores. We've learnt a lot from the extensive close Beta and because of the high demand, we are now working on a Android & iOS game.
The concept of the game is simple. Kids play the game which includes a variety of activities that they perform on a daily basis like, cooking, cleaning, arranging a party, etc. Once they complete the tasks they gain points. After achieving certain points, they are automatically delivered the gifts. A parent has to 'approve' the activity log, to ensure they don't cheat. New games are added every 4 week

Where will the money go?
We have a stable backend running on LAMP. Most of the money will go towards porting the code to Android Tablets & Phones. Some of it will go towards the marketing (less than 20%).
Why us?
GameKarmic was a derivative of passion to build great games acceptable by most and which help break some walls among different cultures. We believe art (games) is a powerful media, which can ‘simulate’ experiences, which can be used to bridge gaps among people. Games are fun, casual and great stress relievers. We are in the process of building games, which are extremely thought provoking, for pre-teens and teens, fun, yet can break the language barrier. We focus on social games on Facebook, Xbox (XBLA), PS3 and mobile devices.
Team
Satya Murthy, founder and CEO of GameKarmic, is a product designer from National Insitute of Design, India and Royal College of Art, London. Satya started his career as an intern at Lego Toys in London, doing toy design & AI. He then moved to California to work for Disney Imagineering, working on theme parks, live animatronics displays and Dinosaur like theme park displays. Later, he worked on the film Lord of the Rings Triology, when he moved to Australia. His last job was with GameShastra Inc., an LA based game game development studios, which is also India’s largest game developer; he served as the Chief Creative Office, leading a team of 300 artists, designers and programmers. He has experience in building games for Xbox, PS3, Wii, Facebook and mobile devices. Spent over a decade in the media, games and animation business, currently shuttles between Detroit and New York. He is also the creative force behind GameKarmic.
Srini Amirapu, is the CTO of GameKarmic. Srini graduated with masters from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, worked with British Telecom (London), General Motors, DaimlerChrysler, Fedex, HP computers and HealthNow New York Inc. Hardcode technology buff, expert in multiple programming languages and platforms, based in New York.
